Counterfeit Bills Passed at Decatur High Football Game
The school is asking parents to alert police if they noticed anything suspicious.

Lauri McKain, principal at Decatur High School, sent this email to parents on Friday about an incident that occurred at the Decatur-St. Pius football game on Nov. 9.
At our last football game, the concession stands and ticket booth took in a number of counterfeit bills. This was reported to the Decatur Police Department and is being investigated by Detective Ross. She asked that we send an email to persons who might have been at the football game, to ask them if they saw anyone passing out bills.
A likely scenario that you might think about is if someone was giving kids a twenty, and telling them to buy candy and return the change to them. If anyone has any information to share, please contact Det. Ross at the Decatur PD: 404-373-6551
