- After being charged with a murder that took place in Decatur in 2019, rapper Q Money, whose real name is Qamar Williams turned himself in to authorities earlier this year. Since then he's been found guilty but claims he was set up. This weekend a picture of the rapper in prison surfaced and is circulating on social media. (VladTV)
- Due to flooding that occurred on Sunday, the DeKalb County Courthouse will be closed through Jan. 3. It was reported that a pipe burst and flooded a section on the first floor of the courthouse on North McDonough Street. Some services will be held online. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
- DeKalb County Fire Rescue responded to a call regarding a house fire along Thompson Circle, near Snapfinger Road in Decatur on Christmas day. It was reported that a father and his son were trapped inside. The father was found deceased in the home and his son, who had disabilities died later at the hospital. (11Alive.com WXIA)
