Decatur Arts Festival begins Friday, May 26 and runs through Sunday, May 28.
DECATUR, GA -- Are you ready for one of Decatur's signature weekends filled with fun events, family activities, live music and art exhibitions? The Decatur Arts Festival begins Friday, the start of Memorial Day weekend, and runs through Sunday.
Tents and kiosks from some of the city's best restaurants will be on the scene in downtown Decatur, so festival-goers are encouraged to bring their appetites. All the food vendors will be located in East Court Square. If music is your thing, there will be a full-scale lineup of bands and artists on tap, including Paul Melancon, The Aint Sisters, Hollis Brown, Grant Green Jr., plus many more.
Friday kicks off with the ArtWalk, billed as the city's largest one-night art experience. Attendees can stroll at their own pace around town to see the spectrum of visual talent in the city, from newcomers to established artists. At each gallery and various shops, patrons can enjoy complimentary drinks and bites. Visit the Artwalk page for more information.
