Decatur City Manager To Discuss Proposed Budget
City Manager Peggy Merriss will discuss Decatur's proposed budget on Monday, May 22 in the "Open Office Hour" series.
DECATUR, GA -- Residents of Decatur with questions about the city's proposed budget are encouraged to attend "Open Office Hour" with City Manager Peggy Merriss on Monday, May 22. The event, the third in a series, will take place from 7 – 8 p.m.
Merriss will speak for about 20 minutes on the city's administrative process and how it is organized, including Decatur's budgeting. Residents are invited to tune in and can submit questions live, beginning at 7 p.m. on Monday, via Twitter, Facebook, email or phone.
Residents can also submit questions via Decatur's Open City Hall page on its website. The deadline for sending questions in advance is 2 p.m. Monday. For those who can't make the meeting in person, it will be streamed live on the city's website.
