  1. CSD Equity Director, Mari Ann Banks voiced her opinion regarding the production of the Sound Of Music performance at Decatur High School. She also gives her approval of the statements given by the Superintendent of CSD, Dr. Fehrman, regarding the production.   2. A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of the late Eugene Wiley, of Decatur. Eugene Wiley passed on Dec. 14 at the age of 74. The service will be held on Friday, January 6 at 1:00 p.m. at the South DeKalb Chapel at 4347 Flat Shoals Parkway. Condolences can be expressed on the website. (Legacy.com)
  3. The city of Avondale Estates recently hired Brittany Marmol as the new director of finance and administrative services. She has worked in Johns Creek for the past 6 years as the city's controller.
