In a statement, the city said that amnesty seekers must follow the process, especially if resolving the issue includes making a court appearance.

"If the original violation requires a mandatory court appearance such as a DUI, suspended driver’s license or no insurance, you must appear on Amnesty Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 9 a.m., to appear before a judge to resolve your case. Alternatively, you must appear to receive a new court date," the city said.
