Decatur, PATH Foundation To Discuss Trail Connectivity Plan
Proposal that joins walking, bike routes will be considered at City Commission's Dec. 19 meeting.
DECATUR, GA -- Decatur has partnered with the PATH Foundation to come up with a road map to connect the city's various bicycle paths and trails.
There are several bike trails throughout the city, including those near main thoroughfares such as Scott Boulevard and West Ponce De Leon. But many of the lanes and walking pathways are not contiguous.
City officials have devised a master plan that will connect all of them for walkers and bicycle riders.
