Decatur Recycling Event For Electronics, More

If you've got unwanted electronics and Styrofoam, here's a chance to get rid of it in an environmentally friendly way.

DECATUR, GA β€” The City of Decatur is running combined recycling events, offering residents a chance to recycle unwanted electronics as well as Styrofoam.

According to the city's Facebook page, those interested in taking advantage of the events should stop by Decatur Public Works, at 2635 Talley St., on Saturday, Nov. 2 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Officials ask that those attending the event enter the facility at Talley Street from Columbia drive, and to exit via Sams Street to East College Avenue.

Early drop offs won't be accepted, and paper shredding won't be available, the city said.
