Decatur Resident Opens Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

DECATUR, GA -- Acting upon her entrepreneurial spirit, Decatur resident CeWyon Ward is opening Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa in the beginning of February. The new spa will be located in the North Decatur Square shopping center across from the Whole Foods and DeKalb Medical Hospital.

Ward has lived in the area for 20 years and developed other businesses such as her consulting firm, Future Forward, for young entrepreneurs, along with being the senior director for musical entertainer Usher’s charity. Her Hand & Stone will be the next way she connects and provides for the community as she plans on partnering with local organizations and sports teams.

Ward has plans to bring two more locations to the greater Decatur area which is part of the Hand & Stone brand’s Georgia expansion plan.

"The North Decatur area is growing rapidly and there was great real estate in the shopping center, across from both the hospital and 365 Whole Foods," Ward said. "Hand & Stone is a day spa that will provide customized massages and facials to the northern Decatur area. We are different than an average spa franchise because of our membership services and quality massages at affordable prices. We offer 'affordable luxury.'”

The spa opened Monday, Feb. 4, just in time for Valentine's Day. The store is also offering a grand opening special in which the the first 50 inaugural members of its lifestyle program will receive a complimentary gift card. Additionally, Hand & Stone will be providing discounted couples massages for Valentine’s Day.
