DHS Track Star Signs With Georgia Southern

track star Ashleigh Rasheed has accepted a scholarship with Georgia Southern University.

She won the state championship in the AA classification in the triple jump two straight years. She jump 38 feet 9 inches in 2011 and 38 feet and 11.5 inches this year.

Other Decatur High athletes to receive scholarships are basketball players , who will play at Jacksonville (Fla.) University, and , who will play for Emmanuel College in North Georgia.
