Tour DeCatur, City's Biggest 5K Run, Is This Saturday

DECATUR, GA -- The city's largest 5K event, now in its 17th year, is set for this weekend, Saturday, March 9. The Tour deCatur brings out close to 3,000 residents from age 2 to 82. The tour features a one-mile fun run and tot trot, in addition to the 5K so be sure to bring the whole family.

Number pick-up takes place at the Tour Expo, held the Friday before the run, and features some favorite teachers taking a pie in the face.

8:30 am – 1-mile Fun Run begins

9 am – 5k Road Race begins

10 am - Tot Trot (4 and under) – gather at the end zone closest to the Performing Arts Center.

10:15 am – Prize ceremony on the plaza in front of the cafeteria.
