Decatur's New Ammazza Launches New Beverage Menu

The new Decatur restaurant is now offering craft cocktails, imported and local beer and small production wines.

DECATUR, GA -- The newly opened Ammazza has launched a new beverage program at the restaurant’s East Howard Avenue location, which opened last month. Led by General Manager Daniel Bridges, Ammazza’s newly launched drink menu offers a seasonally driven selection of cocktails and small production wines, alongside a list of local and imported beer on draft, in cans and by the bottle. Designed to pair with Ammazza’s food menu of reimagined staples in the Italian style, such as insalata, antipasto, pasta and made-from-scratch pizza, the restaurant’s drink program features a lineup of classic cocktails centered around Italian wines and spirits.

Ammazza is an Atlanta-based pizzeria and restaurant. Housed just a few blocks from Decatur's vibrant downtown, the restaurant follows Ammazza's original location in Atlanta's Edgewood neighborhood, which is slated to reopen in winter 2019 following a closure for renovations.

Offering an expanded dinner menu, Ammazza features reimagined staples served in the Italian style, such as antipasto, insalatas, pasta, pizza and delightful dolces, as well as a beverage program of craft cocktails, beer and small production wines. Ammazza is from owner Hugh Connerty with Executive Chef Sean Dwyer helming the kitchen.
