  1. A report regarding the drinking water in Decatur has been released by the DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management. According to the report conducted by the Consumer Confidence Report, water quality in Decatur more than meets the state and federal standards. The county's water management agency serves over 750,000 customers. (On Common Ground News)
  2. The DeKalb County Police Department is investigating the death of a 1-year-old infant. According to investigators, there was a fire at a home near the 3600 Block of Harvest Drive located in Decatur. Officials stated that the call came in at approximately 12:30 a.m. and despite best efforts, doctors weren't able to save the infant. The case is still under investigation. Officials are asking for the public's assistance. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
  3. Robert Slaton, 81, has been missing since June 21 at approximately 9:45 a.m. According to reports, he has dementia. Officials are seeking the public's help in this case. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
  4. Water services were placed on a temporary hold for the past couple of evenings in the Decatur near DeKalb Industrial Way. A 30-inch water pipe need to be replaced. Some residents were advised to run affected water from faucets that weren't producing clear water. (Atlanta News First)
