UPDATE: One Wounded in Decatur-Area Armed Robbery Attempt
A customer inside the pharmacy was shot in the hand and taken to a local hospital, police said.

DeKalb County police are investigating a pair of armed robberies on Thursday morning which left at least one person wounded.
Police tell Patch that two armed men entered the CVS Pharmacy at 2586 Lawrenceville Highway at approximately 9:15 a.m. with intentions of robbing the store. At some point during the robbery attempt, a customer was shot in the hand; that customer was taken to a local hospital, police said.
Prior to fleeing the scene, the suspects took wallets and a cell phone from the customers inside. Investigators have not yet determined if the men were able to take any money fro the registers, police said.

A short time after the attempted robbery at CVS, another armed robbery was reported at a Dollar General in Clarkston. DeKalb police suspect the same suspects are responsible for both incidents.
Police have not made any arrests yet, they said.
