DeKalb Delays Opening Of All COVID-19 Testing, Vaccine Sites
Due to forecasted black ice and low temperatures Tuesday, all DeKalb County Board of Health locations will operate on a delayed schedule.
DEKALB COUNTY, GA — If you booked a COVID-19 vaccination or testing appointment with the DeKalb County Board of Health, check your emails and messages.
All DeKalb BOH locations will open late Tuesday, including COVID-19 vaccination and testing sites, due to forecasted black ice and freezing temperatures, according to a press release from the DeKalb BOH. This includes the testing site in East Atlanta at Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church and vaccination sites in Doraville and Stonecrest.
Hours of operation for all health centers and COVID-19 vaccination sites will be 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and hours of operation at the Greater Piney Grove testing site will be 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Those with testing appointments scheduled Tuesday are being notified and provided options to reschedule or register for testing at another location, including in neighboring counties. Those with vaccine appointments scheduled before 11 a.m. Tuesday have the option of being vaccinated after 11 a.m. or on Wednesday.
