DeKalb Police Investigate Shooting, Traffic Accident On I-85
All lanes on I-85 northbound near North Druid Hills were blocked Thursday morning while police investigated a traffic accident and shooting.
DEKALB COUNTY, GA — All lanes of I-85 northbound were blocked Thursday morning near North Druid Hills while DeKalb County Police Department officers investigated a deadly shooting on the interstate, according to WSB-TV and DCPD.
DeKalb police said a man in his 40s was found shot inside his vehicle, WSB-TV reported. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the body was seen lying on the interstate near one of two wrecked vehicles on I-85. The circumstances surrounding the incident are not clear at this time.

All lanes on I-85 were reopened just before 10 a.m., according to DCPD. This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
