- DeKalb County has announced emergency waterline repairs for Shallowford Road. The repairs will be made on Monday, Nov. 28, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The county warns that local residents and businesses might experience low to no water pressure during that time. There may also be traffic delays. (Decaturish.com )
- A portion of Decatur's Catherine Street will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 29, for television filming. The closure will affect the portion between 1368 and 1420 Catherine St. from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be road closure and detour signs placed along the route to advise travelers. - Decatur's Lanza Smith, 41 years old, was killed during a single-vehicle crash in Jasper County. The incident occurred on GA 212 after Smith lost control of the vehicle. Initial investigations indicate that Smith was under the influence of THC at the time of the crash. (wgxa.tv)
