Family Dog Shot And Killed During DeKalb Burglary

Someone broke into a Tucker home last month, stole some electronics and shot Toby several times, leaving him to die.

DECATUR, GA -- Police are asking for the public's help in finding a burglar who shot and killed a dog last month during a break-in. According to Greater Atlanta Crime Stoppers, the incident happened on April 22 on Hugh Howell Road in Tucker. The victim's residence was burglarized, and during the incident the suspect shot the victim's dog multiple times and left him to die.

The homeowner returned and discovered someone had forced entry into the home, stolen electronics and killed the family dog, Toby.

Police have no suspects at this time.
