Forever Pink Foundation Offers Grants For DeKalb Nonprofits
The deadline to submit a letter of interest to the Forever Pink Foundation is April 1, and the maximum grant award per project is $5,000.
DEKALB COUNTY, GA β DeKalb County nonprofits can apply for grants to help them amid the ongoing struggles due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Forever Pink Foundation β a nonprofit affiliate of the Lambda Epsilon Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. in DeKalb County β is requesting letters of interest from local nonprofit organizations to be considered for grants this year.
The foundation works to aid organizations who support and uplift underserved communities in DeKalb and other metro Atlanta communities, according to a press release. Requests that focus on education, family, economics, health, social and environmental issues are "of special interest to the Foundation," the release said.

The maximum grant award per project is $5,000, and the deadline to submit a letter of interest is April 1.
βWe understand that nonprofits are experiencing challenges during these uncertain times so the foundation is doubling down on its efforts to support local organizations,β said Yatonya Cody Oliver, president of the Forever Pink Foundation, in the release. βPartnerships are essential to making the good deeds of nonprofits possible. Weβve become even more intentional about supporting organizations whose missions are aligned with ours.β

Each year, the foundation partners with local organizations to provide grants for its programming. Previous grant recipients include:

- Greenforest Academy
- Gregg's Pantry
- ERIC (Educational Resources Informed Choices)
- Carrie's Closet
