Here are the top three stories today in Decatur-Avondale Estates:

1. Narcity Canada highlighted seven super fun Airbnb experiences near Atlanta that cost under $28! From the Art, Music, and History on Druid Hill in Decatur to the Walk Through African American History in Stonecrest, there's an activity for everyone. Check out the list at the link. (Narcity Canada)
2. A Decatur City Commissioner recently walked out of a joint work session with the school board and city commission, stating the session was becoming "performative." Commissioner Lesa Mayer said the boards need to have "the tough conversations" such as the lack of facilities available to students to compete with other school districts. “I’ve never been in a meeting with the city commission and the school board members ever, and I don’t think the conversation we are having today best serves our community," said Mayer during the meeting.
