DECATUR, GA -- The city's scooter ordinance is the topic of a public input session and meeting this week. Entitled Future of Electric Scooters in Decatur, the meeting will be held Wednesday, March 27, 6-7:30 pm at the Decatur Recreation Center at 231 Sycamore Street.

According to the city of Decatur, the workshop will help form Decatur’s motorized mobility device ordinance.

Back in December, city commissioners gave e-scooter companies an ultimatum to either sign an operating agreement with the city or be prohibited from offering the service to city residents.
