GBI Announces New Impressions Assistant Manager
Lindsey Shelton was promoted to Assistant Manager of the Impressions Section of the Crime Lab at GBI Headquarters.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation announces the promotion of Lindsey Shelton to Assistant Manager of the Impressions Section of the Crime Lab at GBI Headquarters. Ms. Shelton will be responsible for assisting the Impressions Manager with the daily operations of the section and supervising Impressions personnel.

Ms. Shelton began her career at the GBI as a scientist trainee in December 2009. She completed her training in November 2011 and was then authorized to perform latent print processing and examinations. In September 2018 she was promoted to the position of a technical leader. Ms. Shelton graduated from the University of Georgia in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in anthropology with a minor in linguistics.
