  1. A man who was struck during a hit-and-run while crossing the street late Monday night in Decatur has reportedly passed away. The incident happened around 11:35 p.m. at the intersection of Scott Boulevard and Clairemont Avenue. According to Decatur police, an unknown vehicle heading west hit the victim and fled the scene. The man was taken to an area hospital where he later died. (FOX5)
  2. The City of Decatur received the 2022 Master Plan Spotlight Award from the Georgia Association of Water Professionals at this year’s Annual Conference. Master planning is a complex process that involves a lot of steps and collaboration among stakeholders. The GAWP Integrated Master Planning Committee recognizes these efforts through its award.
