Man Wanted In ATM Theft In Decatur: Police

SunTrust ATM on Flat Shoals Road​ was hit on March 9, police say.

DECATUR, GA -- Police in DeKalb County are asking the public's help in trying to identify a thief who recently robbed a SunTrust Bank ATM.

A man wearing a dark hoodie was able to get $500 from another person's account, police said. The ATM station at 514 Flat Shoals is outside the bank facing the street, but the incident occurred at 9:20 p.m. on March 9, police said.

The robber, whose image was shared on social media by police, is described as a black male with a thin build, about 5'7 in height, age between 25 and 28 years old.

Law enforcement officials are asking anyone who recognizes the man, please call Crime Stoppers at 404 577-TIPS(8477). You will remain anonymous and be eligible for a cash reward up to $2,000.
