College: Plans to study human biology at the University of Virginia.

Did you know: Colleen is president of the senior class at Decatur High and
co-president of the National Honor Society. She’s ridden horses since she was 7  and specializes in Saddle Seat, a style of English horseback riding designed to show off the horse’s trotting. Colleen helped develop two wholesale lines at Sweet N’ Sinful, a business in Avondale Estates that specializes in custom cake designs and confections.

Name: Catherine Wallace, 18.

Parents: Mark and Nancy Wallace.

What she loves about Decatur High: "The support that the school gave me. The teachers will give you support on and off campus and the students will always hold you up."

College: Plans to study biochemical engineering at Georgia Tech before going to medical school.

Did you know: Catherine is vice president of the senior class. For her senior project, she spent several hours each week at the Georgia Institute of Technology conducting cancer research through nanotechnology. She's also drum major for the Decatur High marching band.
