  1. The DeKalb County Police Department reports that an employee and boss got into a shootout at a Tucker-area business on Tuesday. The shootout was the result of a dispute regarding money. Moran Hasut, the boss, and Cameron Randle were located by officers with gunshot wounds at the moving equipment company on Montreal Court. Hasut will not be charged, since he was not the one that shot first. The shooting is still under investigation. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
  2. Decatur's Orlando Akaiba Hall, 20 years old, has been charged with suspicion of one count of aggravated assault for an incident that occurred on Sunday. On Tuesday, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation reported that it will be investigating the incident, which occurred near Wilkins Road and Wilkins Station Drive. Hall is being held at the DeKalb County Jail. (Decatur-Avondale Estates Patch)
  3. A DeKalb County food stamp office encountered a long line on Tuesday. Dozens of county residents were lined up outside in the rain for hours due to a Georgia Food Stamp Program backlog delay. There has been a significant increase in SNAP applications and renewals due to inflation. High call volume has also led to the department's phone lines going straight to voicemail. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
