Murder Suspect Arrested, Victim ID'ed In Decatur Shooting

DeKalb County Police say they tracked a murder suspect to a home where they found guns, drugs and cash.

DECATUR, GA — The man who died in a Glen Hollow Circle shooting Wednesday has been identified, and a suspect has been arrested.

DeKalb County Police said Diamon Clay, 39, was killed in the fatal shooting around 5:15 p.m.

A suspect's vehicle was tracked to Morrow, where police said local officers executed a search warrant at a home and found guns, drugs and cash on Thursday morning.

Police said one person, who was not identified, was arrested and charged on suspicion of malice murder. They were booked at the DeKalb County Jail, police said.

A motive in the fatal shooting is unknown.
