Newnan Man Arrested In DeKalb Murder
Angelo Lenon is accused of killing Jeremie Tyson and causing the shooting death of Andrew Barkley.
DECATUR, GA -- The DeKalb County Sheriffβs arrested 22 year-old Angelo Lenon of Newnan, Georgia, on Monday on two counts of murder and one count each of aggravated assault and armed robbery. Warrants received March 16 allege Lenon shot and killed Jeremie Tyson and caused the shooting death of Andrew Barkley during an armed robbery attempt March 14 in which Daishone Flagg, also a victim of the robbery attempt, was critically injured.
The incidents took place at a Flat Shoals Road residence in Atlanta.
The DeKalb County Sheriffβs Office Fugitive Unit and the Coweta County Sheriffβs Office located Lenon at a Newnan business, where he was taken into custody and transported to the DeKalb County jail without incident.
