The victims said one man had a pistol, the other a knife. Nobody was injured in the Oct. 20 incident in the 100 block of East Hill Street.

This information comes from a Decatur police report.

Two men told Decatur police that armed robbers invaded their apartment in the 100 block of Hill Street Oct. 20 and stole a computer and other electronics equipment.

One of the men answered a knock on the door about 6:15 p.m. and saw two men on the porch. One of them put a long-barreled black revolver to his forehead.

They pushed their way into the apartment. The second intruder held a hunting knife to the other resident's throat and tied a red bandana around his eyes. The resident who answered the door was told to pull his white T-shirt over his face to block his vision.

The residents were moved to separate bedrooms and one of them said it sounded like a third person entered the apartment. The suspects told the victims not to call police right away because the apartment was being watched. They removed the bandana and left.
