Ohio Rapper Arrested In Decatur Murder

​Qamar Akee Williams​ turned himself into police on charges that he killed Calvin Alexander Chappell.

DECATUR, GA -- A well-known rapper turned himself into police on Thursday in connection with a Decatur murder. Qamar Akee Williams, 23, of Akron, Ohio, was taken into custody at the DeKalb County jail where he will be held on a murder charge.

According to an April 15, 2019, arrest warrant, Williams shot Calvin Alexander Chappell to death at a Decatur residence.

Williams was arrested without incident.
