Pre-Olympic Tour Coming To Decatur
From 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, an interactive family event will be held on the Decatur Square.

Two former Olympians will visit Decatur from 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, when the Team USA Road to London tour sets up in the Decatur Square.
The Decatur Minute says people attending the event "will be able to interact with each other in a number of fun activities, meet U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes and hopefuls, and receive some USOC and DeVry University branded merchandise."
Devry said that Jeff Holguin, a 2008 Olympian in Trap Shooting, will be available from 1-4 p.m. and that Terrance Trammell, a two-time Olympic Silver medalist (’00, ’04) in hurdling, will be available from 4-7 p.m.

DeVry is a sponsor for the U.S. Olympic Team and organized the Road to London Tour at six DeVry campuses around the country. DeVry describes the event as "a traveling, family-friendly event that brings the energy of the Olympic and Paralympic Games to local communities."
The event is free and open to everybody. The Summer Games will be held July 27-Aug. 12 in London.
