UPDATE: Mother of Reality TV Star Found After Vanishing From DeKalb Home

DECATUR, GA -- The mother of an Atlanta reality TV star who was reported missing a day ago was found safe Thursday, Patch has learned.

Fifty-six-year-old Kimberly Moore was nowhere to be found at the DeKalb County home of her daughter, who had left her newborn with her grandmother to babysit, according to news reports.

When Chavante Mack, who in addition to being on reality TV is also a prominent local rapper, came home, she found her baby unharmed -- but Moore had disappeared and the home on Maplewood Drive looked like intruders had broken in.

At the home Moore's car and belongings were untouched but the back door was busted, the front door was open and the place ransacked, Mack told police.

Police deployed a chopper and used K-9s in an effort to find the woman, who had been missing since Wednesday evening.

Moore showed up Thursday at her home across town in Austell. But police want to know how she got there.

The case is "still being treated as a kidnapping,” DeKalb police told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Law enforcement officers didn't believe Moore's disappearance was a domestic incident, but they did suspect foul play, WAGA-TV reports.

“My mom is a sweet woman,” Mack told WSB-TV. “She deserves to be home with her family and newborn granddaughter, and I just pray that she returns home safely."

On instagram and Facebook, the celebrity asked for prayers, saying "I love you mom let's get you back home safe."

Moore was found safe mid-morning Thursday all the way in Cobb County at her home on Tyrell Drive, police told the AJC.

Mack starred in the popular VH1 show "Love and Hip Hop Atlanta" a couple of seasons ago.
