King of Pops Robbed in Decatur

This is a story about pops and robbers.

A vendor working the Decatur Square told that a customer grabbed a bank bag and ran the afternoon of July 1.

The vendor said a man bought a popsicle, then walked around the stand asking questions. He grabbed a blue bank bag on the ground underneath the popsicle stand and ran toward Church Street.

The man was described as a dark-skinned black male, about 5-foot-8, with a slight gap between his two front teeth. He wore a black ball cap, gray shirt and long black jean shorts.

Inside the bank bag: $115 in cold cash.
