- The City Schools of Decatur School Board discussed the recent enrollment update during its Tuesday meeting. The meeting was held at the Wilson School Support Center at 6:30 p.m. The enrollment update reported that the district's total enrollment increased by seven students since last year for a total of 5,484 students. The average grade cohort in the district is currently 422 students. (Decaturish.com)
- The Decatur Police Department is searching for two individuals in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Saturday afternoon. The incident occurred at a parking deck in the 200 block of East Ponce de Leon Avenue. The two individuals approached the victim while she was sitting in her car and pointed guns at her. The individuals were caught on surveillance cameras. Anyone with information is asked to contact the department. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
- A car crashed into a DeKalb County classroom on Monday morning. According to the Ivy Prep Academy, a teacher was engaging with students when the vehicle plowed into the classroom. Three students and the driver were injured. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
