South Carolina Man Wanted In Slaying Arrested Near Decatur

Tobias Thomas of Aiken, South Carolina is accused of fatally shooting a man. Thomas was found in the Decatur area.

DECATUR, GA -- An Aiken, South Carolina man was arrested near Decatur in connection to a slaying, DeKalb County officials announced Thursday. Tobias Thomas , 20, is accused of fatally shooting Kalief C. Bey in Aiken.

Investigators with the DeKalb Sheriff’s Fugitive Unit found Thomas in an area home, and arrested him without incident. Thomas is charged with murder and possession of a weapon during commission of a violent crime. He is being held at the DeKalb County Jail awaiting extradition to Aiken.
