String Of Vehicle Break-Ins Reported In OakHurst: ICYMI
BREAKING: Decatur police officers discovered earlier this week several vehicles with windows shattered in the same area of Oakhurst.

DECATUR, GA -- Ten vehicles were broken into recently in the Oakhurst section of Decatur, police said.
In six of the vehicles, the suspect shattered the windows to get inside, police. The incidents happened March 22 along the 100 block of Jefferson Place and the 100 block of Mead Road.
One homeowner said that he heard his car alarm go off about 5 a.m. and went outside to find his glass broken and his vehicle rummaged through, according to police.

At another home, a victim whose car was vandalized found a BB gun in his car.
"Some of the damage was consistent with the windows having been shot with a BB gun," Decatur police said on neighborhood site nextdoor.com. "No items were reported stolen."
