Suspect Arrested In Woman's Slaying Outside Waffle House In Decatur
Anthony Henderson Perryman of Columbus has been arrested in the early Tuesday slaying of Tanya Dunlap outside a Waffle House in Decatur.

DECATUR, GA -- Police in DeKalb County have made an arrest in the shooting death of a woman outside a Decatur Waffle House, Patch has learned. Anthony Henderson Perryman, 27, of Columbus was taken into custody by officers with the DeKalb Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit and the Columbus Police Fugitive Unit.
DeKalb authorities have identified the victim as Tanya Dunlap. A warrant in the case alleges that Perryman shot Dunlap in the head early Tuesday around 2 a.m. in the 4700 block of Flat Shoals Parkway. He then threatened witnesses at the scene and fled, the DeKalb Sheriff's Office said Thursday in a news release.

Investigators tracked him down at a home near Columbus and brought him to the Muscogee County Jail without incident. From there, he will be transported to DeKalb to face the murder charge.
