Suspect Sought In Decatur Kidnapping, Assault

DECATUR, GA -- Police have released a sketch of a man who is a suspect in a violent kidnapping and sexual assault that happened on Jan. 25, 2019, in the 700 block of Derrydown Way in Decatur. The suspect is described as a black male, 30-45 years old, wearing a camouflaged, hooded sweatshirt, tan cargo pants and armed with a black handgun.

Back on Jan. 4, an attempted carjacking took place just a block away from the latest incident. Police do not believe the two crimes are related.
