  1. A teenager was found dead in the middle of a Decatur street on Friday evening. The police responded to a call of a person shot in the area and found the teen in the middle of Meadow Lane. A witness said the teen was shot after getting into a fight with passengers in a car before being shot. Anyone with information is asked to contact the DeKalb County Police Department.   2. Baby Kroger, located at 720 Commerce Drive in Decatur, will be closing on Dec. 2. The store's location has been open for 21 years, but Kroger says a decline in sales and negative profit have led to the closure. Victor Smith, president of Kroger’s Atlanta Division, said,"We appreciate the loyalty and support of our customers and look forward to continuing to serve their needs at nearby Kroger locations."   3. DeKalb County will celebrate its 200th anniversary with an outdoor celebration this coming weekend. The Delkalb County District 7 Bicentennial Celebration & Glass Orb Quest will be held Oct. 22 from 10:00 am. until 1:00 p.m. at the Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve in Stonecrest.
