Today: Observatory Open House, 'Annie' at St. Thomas More

Here are 5 Things you need to know about today -- Friday, Oct. 5, 2012.

1. Open house at Bradley Observatory. At Agnes Scott College, Dr. Kevin Marvel of the American Astronomical Society will talk, followed by a planetarium show and viewing with the observatory telescopes, weather permitted. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Free.

2. Annie. St. Thomas More Catholic School will present this beloved musical at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. The school is at 636 W Ponce de Leon Ave., Decatur. Tickets are $12.

3. Expect colder weather Sunday. Friday, sunny with highs in the low 80s, lows in the mid-50s. Saturday, same temps with a 20 percent chance of rain. Sunday, the high will drop to around 70 and the low to 50, with a 30 percent chance of rain.
