Sisters, 75 And 71, Killed In DeKalb Christmas Morning Fire
The fire tore through a DeKalb County home just before midnight.

DEKALB COUNTY, GA -- Two sisters, both in their 70s, were killed in an early Christmas morning fire in DeKalb County. The fire happened on Wood Castle Lane, according to fire officials. Flames were shooting up from the house when fire crews arrive. Officials have identified the victims as Ella Hicks, 75 and Katie Hicks, 71.
Firefighters tried to enter the home but were pushed back. Then, they began putting out the flames and were eventually able to enter the home, where they found the two women.
No details yet on what started the fire.
