Victory Sandwich Expanding To Decatur

Victory Sandwich Bar is moving into the empty space at 340 Church St. in Decatur.

The sandwich shop now has a location at 280 Elizabeth St. in the Inman Park section of Atlanta that's drawn strong reviews.

Said Jon Watson of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution,

One part deli and one part pub, with a healthy dash of hipster, Victory offers something that few other restaurants in town can — a place to get affordable, creative sandwiches and a full bar serving up an impressive collection of cocktails.

All the sandwiches are priced at $4 and the sides at $3.5. The most expensive mixed drink is $7.5.

The Inman Park shop operates 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Monday-Saturday and 11 a.m.-12 p.m. Sundays. No word on what hours the Decatur shop will observe, or when they'll open.

The Decatur Downtown Development Authority talked about the shop's exterior design Friday morning, though no variance was required. It was a courtesy review.
