Woman Hit By Truck, School Bus Dies In DeKalb Crash
A woman died on Thursday after first being hit by a pickup truck, then a DeKalb County school bus, police said.

DECATUR, GA — After a 29-year-old woman was hit by a pickup truck, DeKalb County Police said the woman was then hit by a county school bus that could not stop in time. She did not survive.
The fatal crash happened around 6:45 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Columbia Drive and McAfee Road, police said. The woman died at the scene, police said.
A gray or white pickup truck first hit the woman as it headed north on Columbia, police said. Afterward, the DeKalb County school bus hit the woman as it was unable to stop in time, police said.

There were no students on the bus at the time, police said. The bus driver remained at the scene.
Police said the truck had a long bed. Police asked witnesses to call officers at (770) 724-7610.
