Woman Shot To Death Outside Waffle House In Decatur
A woman is dead after being shot early Tuesday outside a Waffle House in Decatur.
DECATUR, GA -- Police in DeKalb County are investigating a fatal shooting that happened early Tuesday outside a Waffle House. The shooting at the eatery in the 4700 Flat Shoals Parkway occurred about 2 a.m. in Decatur, police said.
The victim, whose identity has not been released, is described as a black woman, according to DeKalb Sgt. Sabrena Dorsey. "It appears that she arrived with someone," Dorsey told WXIA-TV. "Not sure if that person is involved in the shooting. We believe we know who it is but it's still under investigation."

The shooting occurred in front of several witnesses, who said the woman was shot in the head, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
