DEKALB COUNTY, GA — A woman was shot by police on Tuesday during an armed confrontation at a DeKalb County apartment complex, according to multiple reports citing police.
County police officers responded to the Reserve at Stone Creek Apartments, located in the 2000 block of Treehills Parkway, after receiving a call about someone who was armed with a gun, WSB-TV reported.
When officers arrived, they found two people armed with guns, reports said.

According to a Fox 5 report, a woman was shot during the confrontation with police. It's unclear what led up to the shooting.
The woman was taken to the hospital for treatment, and reports said a man was taken into custody.
