- The City of Decatur has canceled today's Zoning Board of Appeals meeting. Today is also the application deadline for the next meeting. The Zoning Board of Appeals will be meeting on Monday, Dec. 12 at 7:30 p.m. (City of Decatur)
- The City of Avondale Estates will be hosting its first-ever holiday tree lighting on Monday, Nov. 28. The lighting will be held at Avondale Estates Town Green at 6:00 p.m. The DeKalb School of the Arts will be performing dances from the Nutcracker. The Decatur Avondale Children's Choir will be leading participants in a sing-along. (City of Avondale Estates)
- A DeKalb County shopping center shooting occurred on Saturday night. The incident occurred in the 5600 block of Redan Road in Stone Mountain shortly after 11:00 p.m. The shooting resulted in one man being hospitalized with serious injuries. The suspect's identity has not been released at this time. The shooting is still being investigated. (WSBTV)
