6th District Race: Early Voting Began Monday At These Locations

EAST COBB, GA -- Early voting began Monday in Georgia's 6th District race to replace former Congressman Tom Price, who left the seat to serve as the nation's health secretary.

Eighteen candidates are competing in the April 18 contest to fill the seat representing parts of Cobb, Fulton and DeKalb counties.

The Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections will open four early voting locations for voters in North Fulton to cast their ballots for the April 18 special election.

Here are the early voting locations:

• East Roswell Branch Library, 2301 Holcomb Bridge Road, Roswell, GA 30076
• North Fulton Service Center, 7741 Rowell road, Room 232, Sandy Springs, GA 30350
• Milton Library, 855 Mayfield Road, Milton, GA 30009
• Robert F. Ocee Library, 5090 Abbotts Bridge Road, Johns Creek, GA 30005
• Roswell Library, 115 Norcross Street,Roswell, GA 30075 (April 10-14, 2017 Only)
• Early Voting for 6th Congressional/32nd Senate will also take place at:
  • South Fulton Service Center, 5600 Stonewall Tell Road, College Park, GA 30349 (April 10-14, 2017 Only)
  • Wolf Creek Library, 3100 Enon Road, Atlanta, GA 30031 (April 10-14, 2017 Only)

In Cobb County, the Board of Elections and Registration will open its main office at 736 Whitlock Ave. in Marietta 30064-4663 for early voting in the U.S. Congressional District 6 and Georgia State Senate District 32. Here are the details:

• March 27 - April 7 at location:

1. MAIN OFFICE 736 Whitlock Ave. Marietta 30064-4663 Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

• Sat, April 8 at these two (2) locations:

1. MAIN OFFICE 736 Whitlock Ave. Marietta 30064-4663 9am-4pm
2. East Cobb Government Service Center (EAST) 4400 Lower Roswell Rd. Marietta, GA 30068-4233 9a.m. -4 p.m.

• April 10 - April 13 at these two (2) locations:

1. MAIN OFFICE 736 Whitlock Ave. Marietta 30064-4663 Mon-Fri 9 a.m. -5 p.m.
2. East Cobb Government Service Center (EAST) 4400 Lower Roswell Rd. Marietta, GA 30068-4233 Mon-Fri 9 a.m. -5 p.m.

In DeKalb County, early voting for the District 6 election will be follows:

Early Voting Period:
March 27 through April 14 including Saturday, April 8
Monday through Friday - 8 AM to 5 PM
Saturday (April 8), 9 AM - 4 PM

The District 6 special election will be held on April 18. If necessary, a runoff election will take place on June 20.
