Crash Forces Road Closure In East Cobb

MARIETTA, GA — A portion of Lower Roswell Road will be closed through Monday evening due to downed power lines caused by a crash, Cobb County Police said around noon.

A vehicle crashed into an utility pole, leading to the partial closure, police said. No one was injured.

Lower Roswell between Pinehurst Lane and Cross Gate Drive will be closed for at least eight hours while the downed lines are being repaired, police said.

Drivers were asked to find alternative routes and avoid the area.

East Cobb News reported drivers can take Old Canton Road to the west of the closure area, as well as Shadowlawn Drive and Indian Hills Parkway to the east.
