  1. Work on The Avenue East Cobb renovation has begun. The new plan for the area will be turned into a public plaza. There will be two 'jewel box' buildings for restaurants and retail shops. There will also be optional valet parking. The groundbreaking for the work took place in August, but complications with scheduling had delayed the project until now. (East Cobb News)
  2. A crash on Lower Roswell eastbound near Fairfield Drive caused major delays on Tuesday afternoon. The area at the East Cobb Government Service Center and Mt. Bethel Church was essentially stuck in gridlock, as the two lanes closed by the accident caused massive congestion. Additionally, early voting nearby added to traffic complications. Lanes were reopened a little after 5:00 p.m. (East Cobb News)
  3. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be stopping by East Cobb Park on Dec. 4. They'll be attending the Holiday Lights event. Driven by Santa's helpers, the stars will show up in a brand-new sleigh. There will be holiday treats, warm drinks, and tons of good cheer. (Friends for the East Cobb Park via Facebook)
