Burglaries, Robbery, Shoplifting: East Cobb Crime Blotter

In order to help keep residents safe and raise awareness of local crime, the Cobb County Police Department has gone digital and lists the locations where crimes have been reported in their jurisdiction online.

According to the department’s Police2Citizen (P2C) database, the following crimes took place in East Cobb between Friday, Oct. 16 and Thursday, Oct. 22:

• On Oct. 16 at 10:30 a.m., a theft was reported in the 2300 block of Roswell Road.
• On Oct. 16 at 11:40 a.m., an entering auto was reported in the 1000 block of E Piedmont Road.
• On Oct. 17 at 1:30 a.m., a wanted person was arrested in the 900 block of Overbrook Circle.
• On Oct. 17 at 3:40 a.m., a theft was reported in the 1800 block of Mallard Lake Drive.
• On Oct. 17 at 1:05 p.m., a shoplifting was reported in the 4300 block of Shallowford Road.
• On Oct. 17 at 4:05 p.m., a theft was reported in the 2500 block of E Piedmont Road.
• On Oct. 17 at 5 p.m., a burglary was reported in the 2100 block of Groover Road.
• On Oct. 17 at 8 p.m., a robbery was reported in the 600 block of Serramonte Drive.
• On Oct. 17 at 10:56 p.m., a shoplifting was reported in the 4300 block of Shallowford Road.
• On Oct. 18 at midnight, criminal damage to property was reported in the 1600 block of Oak Crest Court.
• On Oct. 18 at noon, a theft by taking was reported in the 4500 block of Belvedere Place.
• On Oct. 18 at 2:30 p.m., an entering auto was reported in the 400 block of Terrell Mill Road.
• On Oct. 18 at 5:55 p.m., 6:05 p.m., and 6:15 p.m, theft by taking was reported in the 4900 block of Roswell Road.
• On Oct 19 at 2:40 p.m., a theft by taking was reported in the 500 block of Pine Valley Road.
• On Oct. 19 at 9 p.m., a wanted person was arrested at Delk and Bentley roads.
• On Oct. 20 at 9:55 a.m., an entering auto was reported in the 300 block of Greyhaven Lane.
• On Oct. 20 at 11:50 a.m., a shoplifting more than $500 was reported in the 4400 block of Roswell Road.
• On Oct. 21 at 8 p.m., a burglary was reported in the 3900 block of Ebenezer Road.
• On Oct. 22 at 9 a.m., a theft by conversion was reported in the 3000 block of Robinson Road.
• On Oct. 22 at 11:30 a.m., a burglary was reported in the 4000 block of Cloister Drive.
• On Oct 22 at 4 p.m. a theft by taking was reported in the 600 block of Smithtstone Court.
